Blog Number Four

It seems I have been creating blogs right and left lately. I ditched my old blog to create a new one when I got married, I made a missionary blog for my best friend, and now I have my very own teaching blog. I feel these are daunting tasks, seeing as I was only able to keep up with my own blog every other week (if I was lucky). But I am excited at such hopeful prospects here.

First things first: My name is Christine Morrow and I am an enthusiastic teacher candidate who can't wait to finally get out there and start teaching! There are a few other things about me you should know: I am an arts advocate. I am a Beatles fanatic. I am an optimist. I really hope to use this blog as a way of reflecting about my teaching experiences and also to save ideas that I find valuable to the classroom.

A little more about me: I am from sunny Southern California, which I always start to miss around this time of year. I have been married for about five months now and am balancing my schedule carefully. I work at the BYU Testing Center (I know, the happiest place on earth). I also work with the BYU ARTS Partnership, a job that I've come to really love and enjoy. I am currently a program director for the TOPS service organization at BYU. I love helping other BYU students volunteer in classrooms all over Provo! In my spare time, I am re-reading the Harry Potter series (I never read the seventh book...yikes), trying to get better at guitar, and hopefully fitting in a run.

Since the weather has been a popular topic recently, I thought this video was appropriate. I'll admit that I would probably have similar reactions to the "cold" if I was still in California. Fortunately for me, I get to experience what true cold feels like out here in Utah.

As previously stated, I have another blog that I am trying to post more regularly. Follow me if you wish: http://themorrrowfamily.blogspot.com/
